Emt Health Care Will I be EMT certified enough to be a paramedic when I get back? I'll be going to basic training and AIT to be a 68w health care specialist (combat medic) for the Army National Guard. They say you get EMT certified..but is it enough of a certification to be an EMT or a Paramedic when I get back..or will i have to do additional training/certifications. You'll be a NREMT-Basic.
