Yellow Stethoscopes
Poor circulation in feet? I'm only 22!?
Hi. I'm a relatively thin 22 year old female (BMI 22) and I'm REASONABLY fit (i walk for about an hour a day and i'm on my feet all the time). I've always had pretty bad circulation in my feet. If I cross my legs for about 10 minutes, the skin goes gray and yellow and patchy. I also get pins and needles if I sit on the toilet for more than 10 or 15 minutes. Is this something to be concerned about? I'm not sure how long the discolouration has been going on for, I've only started to notice these things since I started having panic attacks and palpitations this year. I went to 2 doctors who listened with a stethoscope. No ECG though. I just wonder if I should be concerned enough to blow the money on a doctor if I've no symptoms that really bother me! My mom has a murmur and my dad died of a major heart attack aged 47 so...
Back off the caffienated drinks for a week, see if that improves things. If you smoke, that will also cause those symptoms.

How long do symptoms of acute bronchitis last?
10 days ago I had a bad cough and flu like symptoms. I finally brought myself to go to the doctor 5 days ago on a monday. She did her routine checkups and after listening to my chest she diagnosed me with bronchitis. She gave me an inhaler(albuterol) and an antibiotic. Zithromax. Its saturday, and After finishing the 5 day course, I still feel very tired. I get occasional fevers that go upto 99.5. My chest still feels like like there is discomfort there. My sputum is mostly clear now but once in a while I have a slightly yellow mucus with a small bloody tinge. I have no appetite but I am still trying to eat normal and I have not lost any weight but sometimes I do fell a bit dizzy.
My fevers are not that high and my heart does not race. I assumed the doctor would have asked for an xray if she suspected a pneumonia after listening with a stethoscope. Anyone tell me if I should be worried about a pneumonia and when I will feel normal or with out the fatigue?
I also suffered smoke related acute bronchitis in late March, had shortness of breath, breathlessness, constant phlegm, chill, sore/burning chest and fatigue. My doctor prescribed 10 days of antibiotics and one month of bronchodilator (theophylline by mouth), it took me over 4 weeks to recover. I am quitting smoking since 4-15.
To my understanding, acute bronchitis will have slight fever while pneumonia will cause high fever.
Make sure you finishing the entire course of antibiotics, do NOT cut it short even your symptoms stopped or relieved.
