What kind of doctor should i be looking for? The one now is not listening.?
i went to my doctor today bcoz of chest pain, i think i have anxiety attack 3 days ago, i trembled, my chest & my throat felt tied, feels like my blood shoot to brain, n had a terrible headache, i calm myself down, have a big meal, n turn to bed early, the next morning i felt my chest pressurizes & my calf pain for no reason. Cant go to the doc asap bcoz im the only person to open the office.
So i went in to the doc office, & he told the nurse this is his last case as he got a meeting. N i kinda expecting this will be a quick one.
So i told my doctor i have chest pain, he listen to my chest with his stethoscope & confirmed its muscle pain. is not that i do not believed his diagnosis. But i having this muscle pain, swelling from leg to arm & fingers, to rib and now to my chest for 2 years now, the last x he checked, he said is a temp. rheumatism, pain killer will do the trick, i told him i had too many pain killer already, he say not to worry, your joints swells now if it's serious.
This does sound like anxiety. What appears to be happening according to your discription is your body is trying to talk to you. When life gets too stressful it weighs on the immune system and if not treated it will find ways to bring you to a halt. You do need a new doctor. I would suggest going to a doctor that is associated with a University. If you live in the USA, go to your state's capitol university and request a doctor from their med department. But the calfs hurting for no reason makes me think that the stress in your life is not being dealt with and your body is soon going to force you to deal with it. In addition to seeing another doctor, i would suggest seeing a counselor or Psychologist.
