Any RN's out their with advice on purchasing a stethescope?

I am thinking of purchasing a PureTone Staff Cardiology Stethoscope. I am a student and was told the cardiology series was good. I want a nice one that I can hear well in and that will last me. Not just a junky student one that I purchase from our school bookstore.

You can go to any nursing catalog and purchase a very good stethoscope. I have done this a number of times, as I have been in nursing for years, and they do wear out. I have had the lithium, and prefer them to others.Its your choice, they can cost from 10.00 to 190.00, the one I have cost about 60 and I have been using it for approx. 4 years.
