Fountain Pen Nibs quality.?
What is a Cheap brand but produces superior quality fountain pens? I think Parker makes very affordable and Quality Pens but that is just opinion. I don't care much about the barrel/ case. What's better a 23k gold nib or 18k?

I am very fond of Lamy™ a German brand that makes a wide range of pens from $30.00 on up into the hundreds. The lower end pens will take a cartridge and a converter so you can use any fountain pen ink. They have steel nibs which are very durable.
The higher end pens, starting at about $70.00 use the precious metals (gold & platinum ) and go up in price according to the purity.
Lamy has a lifetime warranty on all its pens.
