Is it safe to go on an airplane with a retracted eardrum?
Hi! About two years ago, I had eartubes inserted into my left ear because of a retracted eardrum. Just recently, the tubes fell out (which they are supposed to do) but my ear is retracted again and has a small amount of fluid in it. I am going on a plane this thursday and I am worried that it will be painful for me to fly with a retracted eardrum. Does anyone know if it will be or if there is anything to do to prevent the pressure change/pain. Thanks so much.

My 5 year old is having her tonsils and adnoids removed and at the same time her eartubes wil be replaced.?
Anyone elses children had this done. Recovery time? Oh, her right ear need to be patched because when her tube was removed it created a tear in her eardrum. Is this day surgery? Thanks
