I am in search of a good stethoscope to purchase as a gift for a beginning respiratory therapist. I'm not sure if there's a special type, model or brand best for that line of work. Please help!

Our instuctor told us not to get one that is more than $40, but I would like to know what brand names are good so I do not get a bad one. Thanks!
Litman is one of the best, but it is pricey. Our prof (patient assesment) told us to get a Litman abt $50.
