Is this a normal procedure at the doctors office?
Last week I went to the doctor to talk with him about renewing my medication. After he ordered more refills for me, he asked me to sit up on the table. I was fully clothed. He was using his stethoscope, and pressed on the top of one of my breasts, then he took his whole hand and cupped my breast and squeezed it over my clothes. Then that was it, he never explained what he was checking for. No doctor has ever done this before. Is this normal, or is something wrong here?
NO! That is unprofessional and should be reported. He has no right to "cup" your breast. I work in the medical profession and what he did was WRONG! I believe he needs to be reported to the medical licensing board. If he has done that to you-how many other patients has he done that to? I would not return to him as my doctor and definitely would file a report with the medical board.
