nurses gloves are usually latex(rubber) so when she puts it on, it stretches and when she lets go it makes a "snapping" noise.

Sometimes i find it hard to breathe and i need to inhale lots of air into my lungs to reduce the?
feeling that my lungs are being tightened up. I thought i had some sort of asthma...
however the last time i had a fast/simple body checkup, the doctor used a stethoscope on me and said my lungs were crystal clear. Since my doctor said my lungs are normal, can i be 100% certain that i dont have some sort of asthma/ lung disease?
ps: my mom has heart problems, if i did inherit heart disease, can my doctor also diagnose that with a simple check up?
The thing with asthma is that the lungs are generally crystal clear until you come in contact with a trigger. This can range from allergies (cats, flowers, animal dander), extreme heat or cold, or cigarette smoke, also if you exercise. To be diagnosed with asthma, you usually have to go through a test called a peak flow meter which measure how much air you can push out of your lungs. Also, if you are having breathing problems without any noticible cause it could be asthma or some other lung disease.
My suggestion would be to schedule a physical or go see a pulmanologist (a doctor who specializes in lung function) and have some tests run. If you are diagnosed and depending on how severe your asthma is, you will be given an inhaler and maybe some other medications to keep it under control. Unfortunately, Asthma is a chronic condition and has no cure but it is certainly manageable and you can definitely have a normal active life.
Your heart disease question: If you are worried about inheriting heart disease, go to your doctor and ask what steps you can take to prevent it from being a problem. Staying healthy from the start can prevent it!
