Stethoscope for deaf doctors?
Are there stethoscopes built for doctors who are deaf?
Possibly one that has a visual heart beat on a screen?
There is a stethoscope which is called a visual stethoscope. I do not believe that it was invented or even marketed to health professionals who are deaf or hard of hearing though. I think it was developed for use in patients which present more of a challenge when it comes to checking the heartbeat out and making sure there are no unusual sounds that could be indicative of heart issues.
However, I believe that a medical professional who had hearing issues could possibly use this type of stethoscope to try and combat or overcome their impairment but I do not know how accepted the use of such a device on every day patients, would be.

Whats wrong with my neck?
When I put my finger on my neck pulse it feels normal. But when I push down with pressure I can feel a woosh woosh. I read that when a doctor uses a stethoscope to listen to your pulse there and they hear a woosh woosh it means plac build up. Also when I put one finger on the lower side of my pulse( on my neck) then one on the upper part(closer to my head)of the same vein I can feel a swoosh swoosh. Is this just from putting pressure on the vein thats why or is this plac build up?
Im 19 and a huge hypochondriac. Dont scare me to bad please I have major anxiety.
It's just because of you pushing on the vein no worries.
