What would be a good quality yet low cost stethoscope that can last for several years?
I need the stethescope for my job but would like it to last me through vet school as well. I'm comfortable spending around $180 for it. Any suggestions?

Musical Stethoscope
What equipment do i need to get before i go out on my first clinical hospital placement?
Iam a first year nursing student and will be going out on to my first clinical placement in a hospital in a months time.
Do i need to get any equipment- stethoscope, fob watch, etc.
Do i need to buy a stethoscope?
And how can i prepare for my placement? Any books i can buy on this or any former nurses/student nurses out there who can offer advice?
Stethoscope, watch with a second hand, click pens (trust me, they make life easier) with black ink, black sharpies, a pocket drug reference book, note pad.
There is a book with the title, "How to Survive Clinical," that I bought before my first clinical rotation as a student nurse. Also, a book on nursing diagnosis is a good idea. I like the one Mosby's puts out.
