Q1 Most hospital ensure that all their staff have all their needles included hepatitus etc., so that they dont catch it and pass it on to others.
Q2 The hospital will will vaccinate anyone who is being employed by them against any preventable diseases
Q3 The cuff nor stethiscope can spread the disease, but to be extra vigilant you can sterilise the stainless steel part or disinfect it.
TB is almost stamped out world wide, you dont say where you live, just make sure your vaccinated against all of these diseases before going ahead, just in case you are in a country that doesnt have a high standard for these things like australia, my friend had to have loads of shots to prevent her from getting any of these diseases and she just does the cleaning, so if they go to that length to cover the staff on a lower level, they should definately take care of the more experienced staff. If they dont get them done yourself, better to be safe than sorry! Also my brother is a police officer and he had to get all of the same needles, and so I suppose, do the ambulance and fire brigade, hope this helps, goodluck and hope you do well!
