When taking blood pressure on thigh, where are the cuff and stethoscope placed?
Right above the knee and the stethescope is placed in the popliteal fossa. Not the best way to do blood pressure but since you ask. You can actually feel for a pulse 1st then place you scope there to insure you are in the correct area. As far as position medial to the semi-tendinosus tendon and listen to the popliteal artery.Good Luck.
