Bad chest pain and 30weeks pregnant?
ive had chest pains for the last 6/7 weeks. it mostly feels like a crushing pain around my ribs and shoulder blades and its hard to breathe. for about the last week i can feel a pain in the left side of my chest (where my heart is) and pain in my left shoulder.
ive been to 3 gp's and they have said my heart and lungs sound ok (with a stethoscope) but have been referred to a cardiologist to rule out anything wrong with my heart, but they dont think there is.
its not the baby pushing, there is lots of room for him to grow. im getting really fed up and just wondering if anyone knows what this is?
i am anemic but have been taking iron tablets and also folic acid and had b12 injections. but again the doctors dont think this should be affecting me.
I had this too. It could be a number of things.
Indigestion would be the first thing on my mind. I found it sometimes to be trapped under my shoulder blades and my left side. It could also from the widening of the ribcage. The bones do expand a little in preparation to let the baby grow more. Sometimes back pain and breast pain can be a factor since you are getting to the end of your pregnancy and your breast size is getting larger too. And finally, but probably not a possibility is anemia. This can cause chest pain and make it difficult to breathe, All the best with bubs.
