Any ideas what I have? Breathing changes, cough, chills?
Hi-
I have no idea what sickness I have and its really weird. Yesterday it started where my breathing was different. Once in awhile, but rarely my throat would sound gurgly. I have a stethoscope and listened to my lungs but I dont hear any fluid in them. At night then I got SUPER cold and couldnt warm up at all. Eventually I went between hot and cold. Also, when I got up after a nap by body felt extremely heavy as I walked. In the morning I was hot and cold for about an hour at work. I also felt exhausted. On break I took a nap and after that I felt totally fine....until night. At about the same time as the night before I had extreme chills. Once I warmed up, I feel fine. Oh and I have a dry cough which doesnt happen tooooo often, but when it does it hurts my head. Any ideas what I might have?

Nursing student needs a reliable stethoscope!!!?
I have a stethoscope that was provided to me when I entered my nursing school. Problem is it Sucks. I am looking for a new one and was wondering if anyone could direct me towards one that fit's my needs. I want a stethoscope that will be able to let me hear lung sound's, apical,and BP with out hearing bowel sound's people talking etc. I can't hear the sounds because there is so much other noise interference. Can Anyone recommend one that cuts out the noise issue. I can't by stethoscope after stethoscope trying to find one that work's well and picks up only what I need to hear not every l;little move I make or when the person coughs I can't hear the apical anymore & have to start over.
I've considered littmans cardiology 2 and three do I really need 3 or will 2 work just as well? Still open to other brands also.
