Bp Stethoscope
What is going on with my blood pressure?
It all started when i went to a doctor (i was very nervous and they checked my BP and said it was high 145/80. They doctor said the bottom number is the important one and the top one changes b/c you are nervous. When i check at the publix machines i think they are called vito or something( i tried 2 different ones) I get from 152-140/90-80. And i used a at home machine hand cuff(heard they are notorious for sucking) i get like 150/95. So then I went to have it check out at a doctor and he used a stethoscope with a high tech looking thing on my arm and he said it was 125-20/80 in both arms. He said its fine. Then a couple days later i went back to publix and a pharmacy and a school clinic(they all had the same VITO machine) and it was high again 155-145/80-90
Whats going on?
P.s I was the same amount of stressed out in all situations
Im a huge hypochondriac
im 19 good health
Witch one should i trust?
trust the good one. you can accidentally get a bad one when external factors affect you, like stress of going to the doctor or thinking something is wrong or excessive stress like that with hypochondria, but you can't accidentally get a good one. nothing i'm aware of can make the cuff or the person give a reading lower than it should be.

If I know that the patient has chronic halitosis I walk in and say
I bet your mouth is dry, I am going to swab it for you and you can spit out the water, another trick is to find something opposite you in the room and ask about it, the patients head will be turned while talking about it (maybe a card or the weather outside the window ) Sometimes not talking is best so I will say I am trying to listen for a certain nurse, or the radio or TV in the next room- usually they will remain quiet. If I take vitals I will ask them to turn their head slightly maybe ask them to look at a certain object in the room, if they ask why just say that you do not want them to move too much while you are counting there breaths I treat them with the respect I would want to be treated with, and smile with my lips together and hold my breath as much as I can.
