Stethoscope Tubing Littman
How can I soften the rubber tube of my stethoscope?
The rubber tube of my Littman stethoscope has become hard around where I drape it around my neck. Now it won't bend properly. Is there anything I can do to revive the rubber and soften it? Or do I need to replace the tube?
once rubber has oxidised there is nothing you can do, rubber tubing is extremely cheap

how do you clean the PVC tubing on a littman stethoscope? mine is getting kinda sticky.?
Wipe it with some alcohol ( even after shave will do)
Then wash the rubber tubings with some soap and water. Use a piece of cloth to clean it thoroughly
Again wipe it with alcohol
Allow it to dry
Take care not to wet the diapragm
